SOC Homestay Co-ordinator:

Arranges for a suitable homestay
Ensures each family is safe with family security checks
Meets you at airport and introduces you to homestay
Assists with telephone call to your family (safe arrival)
Ensures culture of student is respected by family
Monitors your homestay placement

Your Homestay Family:

Provides you with a warm and caring environment
Provides you a furnished room in the house
Helps you adjust to your new culture and surroundings
Provides information on local transportation and bus routes
Encourages you to take part in family activities
Looks out for your safety and security
